Electron Band Structure in a Two Dimensional Periodic Magnetic Field
In this paper we study the energy spectrum of a two dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in a two dimensional periodic magnetic field. Both a square magnetic lattice and a triangular one are considered. We consider the general case where the magnetic field in

Zero-field atomic magnetometer to extract longitudinal magnetic field
Zero-field atomic ensembles enable the development of ultrahigh-sensitivity magnetometry. However, their intrinsic insensitivity to longitudinal magnetic fields along the pumping direction poses a fundamental limitation, restricting precise weak-field ...

Coronal Structure of Low-Mass Stars
We investigate the change in stellar magnetic topology across the fully-convective boundary and its effects on coronal properties. We consider both the magnitude of the open flux that influences angular momentum loss in the stellar wind and X-ray ...

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

In the junctions with a strong Josephson coupling and a pronounced interfacial pair breaking, the magnetic interference patterns of the Josephson current are shown to differ substantially from the standard Fraunhofer shape. The Fraunhofer pattern occurs,

The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...
