Design and Development of a Tachometer Using Magnetoelectric Composite as Magnetic Field Sensor

IEEE transactions on magnetics, 2018
A tachometer was designed and developed using magnetoelectric (ME) composites as the magnetic-field sensor. In the presented design, a simple structure with one permanent magnet and a steel gear was used.

Three-dimensional magnetic-field sensors

IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1988
Devices sensitive to all three components of a magnetic-field vector are presented. The sensitivity to two field components in the plane of the chip is achieved by merging two one-dimensional vertical magnetotransistors positioned at a 90 degrees angle to each other.

HALL SENSORS FOR MAGNETIC FIELD

2023
The development of electronic devices is increasing the need for magnetic sensors, which in turn is driving the development of magnetic sensors. In this work, the theory, principle of operation, efficiency and economic value of magnetic sensors based on the Hall effect were considered.

Two dimensional magnetic field sensor

IEEE Technical Conference on Southern Tier, 2002
Development and testing of a two dimensional magnetic field sensor are conducted to gain an understanding of the sensing phenomenon, characterize its capabilities, and develop a rationale for the direction of further improvements. The sensor uses a configuration similar to a vidicon television camera tube. Instead of operating in a light sensitive mode,

A magnetic field sensor and method of manufacturing a magnetic field sensor

1997
A method of manufacturing a magnetic field sensor having a stacked structure which comprises: a substrate (1); an exchange-biasing layer (2) comprising nickel oxide; a magnetic layer (3) which is exchange-biased with the exchange-biasing layer (2), whereby at least the exchange-biasing layer (2) is provided by sputter deposition using a sputter gas ...

Magnetic and Electric Field Sensors

2015
The main application for magnetic and electric field fiber optic sensors has been the electric power industry. The ability to dielectrically isolate equipment and personnel from high power provides an attractive feature in terms of safety and, ultimately, cost for fiber optic systems versus those using conventional technology.
