Magnetoelectric cantilever sensors under inhomogeneous magnetic field excitation
The behavior of strain-coupled composite magnetoelectric cantilever sensors under excitation with an inhomogeneous magnetic field is investigated. We consider a local excitation generated by a ring-shaped copper coil with one winding, variably positioned

Magnetic Flux Concentration Technology Based on Soft Magnets and Superconductors
High-sensitivity magnetic sensors are fundamental components in fields such as biomedicine and non-destructive testing. Flux concentration technology enhances the sensitivity of magnetic sensors by amplifying the magnetic field to be measured, making it ...

Theory, Instrumentation and Applications of Magnetoelastic Resonance Sensors: A Review
Thick-film magnetoelastic sensors vibrate mechanically in response to a time varying magnetic excitation field. The mechanical vibrations of the magnetostrictive magnetoelastic material launch, in turn, a magnetic field by which the sensor can be ...

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...
