Research on Defect Detection by Finite Element Simulation Combined with Magnetic Imaging
This study investigates the magneto-optical imaging (MOI) characteristics of weld defects under alternating magnetic field excitation. A magneto-optical sensor is employed to detect different types of weld defects, and the correlation between MOI ...

Design and Optimization of an MFL Coil Sensor Apparatus Based on Numerical Survey
In this study, we aimed to design a coil sensor prototype capable of detecting metallic area loss based on numerical simulations using the magnetic flux leakage (MFL) method. Unlike previous numerical simulation-based studies, which are only conducted to

Design and Performance Study of a Magnetic Flux Leakage Pig for Subsea Pipeline Defect Detection
Subsea pipelines, operating in high-pressure and high-salinity conditions, face ongoing risks of leakage. Pipeline leaks can pollute the marine environment and, in severe cases, cause safety incidents, endangering human lives and property.
