Dimethyl Fumarate, But Not Rituximab, Reduces Serum GFAP Levels and PIRMA in Relapsing–Remitting MS
ABSTRACT Objective Serum neurofilament light chain (sNfL) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (sGFAP) levels are believed to reflect mainly acute and chronic disease processes in multiple sclerosis (MS), respectively. In this study, we investigated whether dimethyl fumarate (DMF) and rituximab (RTX) differentially affect these biomarkers.

LLB MACRO-SPIN MODELLING OF NANOGRANULAR L1o FePt HIGH ANISOTROPY THIN FILMS [PDF]
New recording media and recording methods are required if magnetic data storage is to continue the historic growth seen in the areal density, beyond the level currently imposed by the superparamagnetic limit.

Structuration and Integration of Magnetic Nanoparticles on Surfaces and Devices
AbstractDifferent experimental approaches used for structuration of magnetic nanoparticles on surfaces are reviewed. Nanoparticles tend to organize on surfaces through self‐assembly mechanisms controlled by non‐covalent interactions which are modulated by their shape, size and morphology as well as by other external parameters such as the nature of the

Integration of High-Brightness QLED-Excited Diamond Magnetic Sensor
The nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center magnetic sensor, leveraging nitrogen-vacancy quantum effects, enables high-sensitivity magnetic field detection via optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR).

ABSTRACT Traumatic spinal cord injury (TSCI) caused by sharp‐force penetration is exceptionally rare, and the use of high‐dose methylprednisolone (MP) remains highly controversial, especially beyond the conventional 8‐h treatment window. This case report describes a 30‐year‐old male with acute incomplete TSCI following a knife stab wound to the right ...

Magnetic field stabilization for magnetically shielded volumes by external field coils
For highly sensitive magnetic measurements, e. g., a measurement of the neutron electric dipole moment (EDM), the magnetic field has to be stable in time on a level below picoTesla. One of several measures we employ to achieve this uses an external field

Primary sensory cortices contain distinguishable spatial patterns of activity for each sense [PDF]
Whether primary sensory cortices are essentially multisensory or whether they respond to only one sense is an emerging debate in neuroscience. Here we use a multivariate pattern analysis of functional magnetic resonance imaging data in humans to ...

Persistent Bilateral [18F]THK5351 and Migrating Unilateral [18F]FDG Uptake in Anti‐LGI1 Encephalitis
ABSTRACT Anti–leucine‐rich glioma‐inactivated 1 encephalitis (LGI1‐E) can cause persistent cognitive deficits, but the mechanisms remain unclear. A 40‐year‐old woman with LGI1‐E presented with subacute cognitive deficits and showed mild left medial temporal lobe (MTL) swelling and fluid‐attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) hyperintensity on initial ...
