Integrated Magnetic Nanoinductors
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, 2015This paper demonstrates the feasibility of the realization of on-chip inductors for use in microwave and millimeter-wave devices using ultraminiaturized on-chip vertical nanohelices. The inductors are constructed by depositing a thin film of closely packed, vertically aligned Nickel nanohelices.

Abstract Recent silicon magnetic sensors and integrated sensors are described. The silicon magnetic sensors, whose fabrication is compatible with the standard IC process, are in the limelight because they can easily be incorporated into integrated circuits and it may be possible to realize intelligent sensors.

THIS PAPER reports the results of studies on improving the characteristics of storage integrator cores used to enhance target detection capability in Doppler radar systems. The cores integrate the total spectral output (reflected signals plus noise) of the radar receiver, effectively summing only those repetitive reflected signals (target echoes) above

Interior permanent magnet integrated starterāalternator
COMPEL - The international journal for computation and mathematics in electrical and electronic engineering, 2011PurposeThe purpose of the paper is to present a complete design example of an interior permanent magnet integrated starterāalternator (ISA).Design/methodology/approachAfter a preliminary design on the basis of an analytical model, finite element simulations are adopted to refine the design of the machine.FindingsThe designed ISA drive is able to ...

Solutions to the Yang-Baxter equation are found which are invariant with respect to the general linear and orthosymplectic supergroups. Hamiltonians and higher integrals of motion (transfer matrix) of the corresponding graded spin systems are diagonalized for finite chains.

Magnetically switched integrated SCR
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1973The design and performance of a bipolar IC is described, in which a magnetically sensitive lateral p-n-p transistor is applied to the switching of a 25-mA SCR integrated on the same chip. The circuit can be operated from either an ac or dc supply and features an on-chip trim arrangement that allows the threshold magnetic field to be changed by ...

Integrated magnetic recording heads
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1971A new type of integrated magnetic recording head has been developed. The head is made completely from thin films by vacuum deposition through a mask. This technology enables us to make many heads in one vacuum cycle. A special study has been carried out on the geometrical forms and on the anisotropic magnetic material.

Integrated magnetic field sensor
Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 1991Abstract For small magnetic field measurements, Sextant Avionique is developing, in collaboration with the Ecole Superieure d'Ingenieurs en Electrotechnique et Electronique, a new generation of miniature sensors. The detector is a mechanical resonator using a monocrystalline silicon beam.
