Integrated magnetic-semiconductor components

IWIPP Proceedings. IEEE International Workshop on Integrated Power Packaging (Cat. No.98EX203), 2002
We have taken a component view of packaging techniques to achieve high density, low profile power converters. In this work, we have focused on the simultaneous z-axis mounting and plastic encapsulation of the power magnetic device and the power semiconductors into one integrated package.

MAGNET's Integrated Network Architecture

MILCOM 1986 - IEEE Military Communications Conference: Communications-Computers: Teamed for the 90's, 1986
The network architecture of NMAGNET, a testbed for integrated local area networks, is presented. The system architecture consists of integrated workstations, control and communication subsystems, and gateways. The network architecture incorporates this organization at the system level and represents an instance of the Integrated Reference Model ...

Magnetic labeling, detection, and system integration

Biosensors and Bioelectronics, 2008
Among the plethora of affinity biosensor systems based on biomolecular recognition and labeling assays, magnetic labeling and detection is emerging as a promising new approach. Magnetic labels can be non-invasively detected by a wide range of methods, are physically and chemically stable, relatively inexpensive to produce, and can be easily made ...

Integrated magnetic and elastic force systems

American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 2002
Magnetic force increases as the distance (d) of the force- generating elements (F approximately 1/d(2)) decreases, whereas elastic force decreases as the distance decreases (F approximately kd). These opposing characteristics suggest that combining both force systems will establish an integrated system with a long-range working ability.

Integrated data processing for archeological magnetic surveys

The Leading Edge, 2003
Magnetic methods are widely adopted in archaeological prospecting for detecting and delineating shallow subsurface targets. The data processing and the interpretation of the magnetic anomalies in terms of shape and physical properties of the causative bodies requires great care.

Micrometer scale magnetization of neodymium magnet for integrated magnetic MEMS

2016 IEEE 29th International Conference on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS), 2016
In order to fabricate integrated magnetic MEMS devices containing complex micro-magnetic circuits, a micrometer scale magnetization technique for magnet substrates is required. Miniaturization of the magnetization pattern generated by pulse magnetization is limited due to heat resistance and the arrangement of the micro-coils. In this paper, we discuss

Integral magnet vibration sensor

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2004
An integral magnet vibration sensor apparatus optimizes sensor response in a non-permanently attachable package. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the apparatus includes a housing having a magnet, a vibration sensor, and a conditioning circuit disposed within the housing.

Integration of polymer bonded magnets into magnetic sensors

Proceedings of the 5th Electronics System-integration Technology Conference (ESTC), 2014
This paper introduces a novel assembly and manufacturing technology for integrating permanent magnets into magnet sensor modules by use of plastic bonded magnets. High precision speed sensors in automotive applications, e.g. in anti-blocking-system or engine management, are based on a magnetic measurement principle [1]. Typical sensor modules contain a
