The Mechanism Study of Alternating Arc(AC)Magnetic Levitation Induction Motor
Magnetic levitation (no bearings) motor by using magnetic force to make rotor suspend and drive realize its high or ultra-high speed rotating. The stator’s structure of traditional no bearing magnetic levitation motor is double winding which is polar ...

Application to Magnetic Levitation
Magnetic levitation systems using HTS bulks, such as magnetic bearing devices for flywheel energy storage systems, transporters, linear actuators, magnetic gears and so on, have been developed by many research groups. Most of the HTS magnetic levitation systems are composed of HTS bulks and permanent magnets.

ABSTRACT In this study, a robust position control strategy is presented for a two‐stage electro‐hydraulic actuator system using a fractional‐order proportional–integral–derivative (FOPID) controller tuned by Kirchhoff's law algorithm (KLA). Electro‐hydraulic systems exhibit strong nonlinearities, parameter uncertainties, and external disturbances ...

Real‐Time Fractional Control of an Electrohydraulic System Using Low‐Cost Technology
ABSTRACT Advances in control methods for electrohydraulic systems (EHS) improve performance by addressing nonlinearities and unknown parameters, although most studies are limited to numerical simulations. Furthermore, research with experimental validation often relies on high‐performance computing equipment, specialized data acquisition cards, and ...

Influence of Brownian Diffusion on Levitation of Bodies in Magnetic Fluid [PDF]
The present work deals with experimental investigation of the levitation of magnetic and non-magnetic bodies in a magnetic fluid when essentially influenced by Brownian diffusion of magnetic particles in it. It is established that the point of levitation

Variable Structure Control Design for a Magnetic Levitation System
In this paper the variable structure control theory is utilized to derive a discontinuous controller to the magnetic levitation system. The magnetic levitation system model is considered uncertain, which subjected to the uncertainty in system parameters,

Shear‐induced blood damage—including hemolysis, platelet and neutrophil injury, and von Willebrand factor (vWF) degradation—was evaluated for the BrioVAD and HM3 using an in vitro circulatory loop under clinically relevant conditions. Across 15 biomarkers (n > 6 per group), no significant differences were observed between the two devices.
