Influence of the Inverse Faraday Effect on Switching and Oscillations of Magnetization in Single-Domain Nanoparticles [PDF]
We have performed a numerical simulation of magnetization switching and oscillations in a ferromagnetic single-domain particle in the disk form under the influence of nanosecond laser pulses with linear and circular polarization.

Landau levels, response functions and magnetic oscillations from a generalized Onsager relation
A generalized semiclassical quantization condition for cyclotron orbits was recently proposed by Gao and Niu \cite{Gao}, that goes beyond the Onsager relation \cite{Onsager}.

Three-minute Sunspot Oscillations Driven by Magnetic Reconnection in a Light Bridge
We report a different type of three-minute chromospheric oscillations above a sunspot in association with a small-scale impulsive event in a light bridge. During our observations, we found a transient brightening in the light bridge.

Reducing power consumption in spintronic memory remains a major challenge due to the need for high current densities. A bilayer of gadolinium and holmium iron garnets enables purely temperature‐induced, nonvolatile magnetic switching with bistable states within a ±25 K range. This approach achieves up to 66‐fold lower energy use than current spin–orbit

Giant Quantum Oscillations of the Longitudinal Magnetoresistance in Quasi two-dimensional Metals
We have investigated in frame of the quantum transport theory the magnetic quantum oscillations of the longitudinal magnetoresistance $\rho_{zz}$ in quasi two-dimensional metals for a magnetic field perpendicular to the layers.

Gourd‐Inspired Design of Unit Cell with Multiple Gradients for Physiological‐Range Pressure Sensing
Gourd‐shaped micro‐dome arrays with coordinated modulus, conductivity, and geometric gradients co‐optimize sensitivity and linearity in piezoresistive tactile sensors. Under pressure, a solid upper dome embeds into a porous lower dome, triggering rapid contact‐area growth and series‐to‐parallel conduction, enabling unsaturated, intensity‐resolved ...

Coherent magneto-elastic oscillations in superfluid magnetars
We study the effect of superfluidity on torsional oscillations of highly magnetised neutron stars (magnetars) with a microphysical equation of state by means of two-dimensional, magnetohydrodynamical- elastic simulations. The superfluid properties of the

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations in metallic Bi2Se2.1Te0.9 are studied in magnetic fields up to 35 Tesla. It is demonstrated that two characteristic frequencies determine the quantum oscillations of the conductivity.

Drug‐Free Thrombolysis Mediated by Physically Activated Micro/Nanoparticles
Overview of particle‐mediated thrombolytic effects (thermal, mechanical, and chemical) and their activating physical stimuli (light, ultrasound, and magnetic field) in drug‐free thrombolysis. ABSTRACT Thrombus‐associated disorders rank among the world's leading causes of death, with ischemic heart disease and stroke as the main contributors.
