Multilayer ferrite inductor prototypes are fabricated by cofiring metallized tapes of NiCuZn ferrite and glass‐ceramic composite. Prerequisites for a predictive component simulation are discussed. An automated data‐pipeline stores and semantically links the experimental data acquired in the study according to a domain ontology.

The combination of battery product and characterization ontology (BPCO) and domain knowledge guides hypotheses development and leads to new insights into material–property relationship of battery materials. The use of “intermediate data” is introduced as a concept, and examples are shown on its use to analyze the agglomeration of carbon black and its ...

Dynamics of charged and magnetized particles around cylindrical black holes immersed in external magnetic field [PDF]
This paper investigates the motion and acceleration of a particle that is electrically and magnetically charged, which rotates around a cylindrical black hole in the presence of an external asymptotically uniform magnetic field parallel to the z axis. Basically, the work considers the circular orbits of particles rotating around the central object and ...

AbstractMagnetic particle imaging (MPI) is an emerging modality that can address longstanding technological challenges encountered with magnetic particle hyperthermia (MPH) cancer therapy. MPI is a tracer technology compatible with MPH for which magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) provide signal for MPI and heat for MPH.

Entering the "magnetic highway": energetic particle anisotropies at the heliospheric boundary [PDF]
In August of 2012 the Voyager 1 space probe entered a distinctly new region of space characterized by a virtual absence of heliospheric energetic charged particles and magnetic fluctuations, dubbed a "magnetic highway". Prior to their disappearance, the particle distributions strongly peaked at a 90$^\circ$ pitch angle implying a faster particle escape
