Magnetic properties of magnetic nanowire arrays
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2002The arrays of NiFe and CoNiFe nanowires were grown in anodic alumina (alumite) and track etched polycarbonate (PCTE) membranes with various pore sizes by pulsed electrodeposition. Magnetic properties of the array were studied as functions of wire material, length, and diameter as well as field orientation. In PCTE membranes, as high as 0.92 of remanent

Magnetic Properties of Magnetic Hydrogels
Solid State Phenomena, 2015Several samples of magnetic hydrogels (also known as ferrogels) are prepared, and their magnetic properties are examined. Polyacrylamide gel is used as the base. Gel matrices are filled with the nanopowder: iron particles with the mean size about 30 nm. The magnetization curves of the samples are measured at different stages of de-swelling.

Irreversible Magnetic Properties of Nanocarbon
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2012Magnetization M(T, B) of powder and glassy samples containing carbon nanoparticles, not intentionally doped and doped with Ag, Au and Co, is investigated at temperatures T between - 3-300 K in magnetic fields B up to 5T. According to atomic force microscopy data, a system of carbon particles has a broad size distribution, given by the average and the ...

In addition to pedogenesis, thermodynamic state changes induced by fire contribute to transformations of iron minerals that in turn generate magnetic enhancement of the ground. Some of these new minerals are nanometric markers of fire-related practices that can be detect by magnetic methods, even in trace levels.

Magnetic properties of materials
1993The magnetic properties of materials only receive a satisfactory microscopic explanation by reference to the quantum structure of the constituent atoms and molecules. Quantum states of electrons are always dynamic in nature and they can involve surprisingly large internal electric currents.

Magnetism and magnetic properties of materials
1993Some magnetic behaviour has been known and used for many centuries. The earliest experiences of magnetic properties concerned the behaviour of magnetite, which is the only material which occurs naturally and shows obvious magnetic behaviour. It was this mineral which provided lodestone; it was known more than 2000 years ago to both the Greeks and ...
