Magnetocaloric effect of Sr-substituted BaFeO3 in the liquid nitrogen and natural gas temperature regions

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
We have investigated the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) of Ba1-xSrxFe4+O3 (x≤0.2), a series of cubic perovskites showing a field-induced transition from helical antiferromagnetism to ferromagnetism.

Investigation of the triple peak magnetocaloric effects of Ni45Mn44Sn11 ribbons

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2023
The magnetocaloric effect (MCE) of Ni45Mn44Sn11 ribbons is simulated, with temperatures ranging from nearly 0 K to 313 K. The MCE of these ribbons exhibits triple peak behavior.

Some Magnetic Properties and Magnetocaloric Effects in the High-Temperature Antiferromagnet YbCoC2

open access: yes, 2023
The YbCoC2 compound, which crystallizes in a base-centered orthorhombic unit cell in the Amm2 space group CeNiC2 structure, is unique among Yb-based compounds due to the highest magnetic ordering temperature of TN=27 K.

Magnetocaloric Effect in Uncoated Gd55Al20Co25 Amorphous Wires [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2015
The Gd55Al20Co25 amorphous wires exhibit a relatively strong magnetocaloric effect (MCE). These melt-extracted amorphous wires display second-order magnetic transition (SOMT) and the value of maximal magnetic entropy (–ΔSm) for the melt-extracted wires ...
