Magnetic small-angle neutron scattering on bulk metallic glasses [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The present PhD thesis is devoted to the exploration of the use of the magnetic small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) technique for analyzing the magnetic microstructure of bulk magnetic materials.

Dynamical ground state in the XY pyrochlore Yb2GaSbO7

open access: yesnpj Quantum Materials, 2021
The magnetic ground state of the pyrochlore Yb2GaSbO7 has not been established. The persistent spin fluctuations observed by muon spin-relaxation measurements at low temperatures have not been adequately explained for this material using existing ...

Abrupt bifurcations in chaotic scattering : view from the anti-integrable limit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Bleher, Ott and Grebogi found numerically an interesting chaotic phenomenon in 1989 for the scattering of a particle in a plane from a potential field with several peaks of equal height.

Complete field-induced spectral response of the spin-1/2 triangular-lattice antiferromagnet CsYbSe2

open access: yesnpj Quantum Materials, 2023
Fifty years after Anderson’s resonating valence-bond proposal, the spin-1/2 triangular-lattice Heisenberg antiferromagnet (TLHAF) remains the ultimate platform to explore highly entangled quantum spin states in proximity to magnetic order.

Development of an Analytical Model for Determining the Magnetic Flux of Scattering through the Gears of the Stator of a Synchronous Electric Machine with a Fractional Gear Winding

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений и энергетических объединенний СНГ: Энергетика, 2022
The article presents a two-dimensional finite element model of the magnetic field of a magnetic system of a synchronous electric machine with fractional gear windings. The specific features of the distribution of magnetic fluxes (main effect, edge effect,

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Influence of magnetic field heat treatment on the microstructures and coercivity in ferromagnetic amorphous alloys

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2022
To clarify the effect of small magnetic fields on the magnetic properties and microstructure in FeCoSiBPC amorphous alloys, a magnetic field with different directions and various intensities was applied.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Grazing Incidence X-ray Scattering from Magnetic Thin Films and Nanostructures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Grazing incidence scattering of synchrotron x-rays has been used to characterize the structure of magnetic thin films and periodic nanostructures. The combined metal and metal oxide films have been chosen to clarify the effects of growth processing ...
