Determination of the Magnetic Material Composition in Magnetite Ore and Processability Evaluation

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2013
Magnetite samples were magnetically separated with a magnetic tube and artificial magnetic separation. The contents of TFe, P, S, V2O5, TiO2, SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Sn, Cu, Pb and Zn in the magnetite samples were determined.

Catalytic Mechanism Studies of Ortho–para H2 Conversion Over Iron Oxide Catalysts

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Herein, by estimating the reaction rate based on the per surface area of iron oxides, the Fe(III) exposed on surfaces exhibited a superior activity, and the intrinsic activity of iron oxides for ortho–para H2 conversion was found to follow the trend of α‐Fe2O3 ≈ γ‐Fe2O3 > Fe3O4.

Mid-infrared detection device using magnetite substrates deposited by radio frequency sputtering method

open access: yesAIP Advances
We investigated the use of magnetite, a type of iron oxide with low environmental impact, as a mid-infrared detector. Mid-infrared rays with a wavelength of 10.6 μm were irradiated to magnetite thin films at regular intervals using a chopper, and changes

Facile Synthesis and Characterization of Pure Tochilinite‐like Materials from Nanoparticulate FeS

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 648, Issue 23, December 13, 2022., 2022
Abstract In this work, three different tochilinite‐like materials have been obtained by sophisticated synthetic methods that allow to control the distribution of iron ions. The purity of the samples was confirmed by powder X‐ray diffraction. From elemental analysis and Mössbauer spectroscopy data, detailed compositions could be determined: T1) Fe0.76S ...
