Magnetization reversal of ferromagnetic nanodisc placed above a superconductor

open access: yes, 2004
Using numerical simulation we have studied a magnetization distribution and a process of magnetization reversal in nanoscale magnets placed above a superconductor plane. In order to consider an influence of superconductor on magnetization distribution in

Exact expression for the magnetic field of a finite cylinder with arbitrary uniform magnetization

open access: yesJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2018
An exact analytical expression for the magnetic field of a cylinder of finite length with a uniform, transverse magnetization is derived. Together with known expressions for the magnetic field due to longitudinal magnetization, the calculation of ...

MPI‐Guided Photothermal Therapy of Prostate Cancer Using Stem Cell Delivery of Magnetotheranostic Nanoflowers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Tumor‐tropic human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) were used as delivery vehicles for magnetotheranostic gold–iron oxide nanoflowers. Magnetic particle imaging of the iron component demonstrated widespread intratumoral distribution and sustained retention in contrast to injection of naked nanoflowers.

Short-time critical dynamics at perfect and non-perfect surface

open access: yes, 2007
We report Monte Carlo simulations of critical dynamics far from equilibrium on a perfect and non-perfect surface in the 3d Ising model. For an ordered initial state, the dynamic relaxation of the surface magnetization, the line magnetization of the ...

Magnetization and overlap distributions of the ferromagnetic Ising model on the Cayley tree [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
We analyze the magnetization and the overlap distributions on the ferromagnetic Cayley tree. Two quantities are investigated: the asymptotic scaling of all the moments of the magnetization and overlap distributions, as well as the computation of the ...

Modelling and interpretation of magnetization transfer imaging in the brain

open access: yesNeuroImage, 2017
Magnetization transfer contrast has yielded insight into brain tissue microstructure changes across the lifespan and in a range of disorders. This progress has been aided by the development of quantitative magnetization transfer imaging techniques able ...

Gram‐Scale Production of Iron Oxide Rubik‐Cube Nanoparticles: New Tools for the Clinical Translation of Magnetic Hyperthermia and Magnetic Particle Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports the first gram‐scale solvothermal synthesis of ‘Rubik's cube’ nanoparticles—cubic, dendritic multicore structures with tuneable sizes and exceptional magnetic heating performance. Featuring iron oxide single‐domain character, with low coercivity fields, high magnetization, and strong MPI signals, they enable viscosity‐independent ...

Influence of Ba and Mo co-doping on the structural, electrical, magnetic and optical properties of BiFeO3 ceramics

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2020
In this work, ${{\rm{Bi}}}_{0.8}{{\rm{Ba}}}_{0.2}{{\rm{Fe}}}_{1-x}{{\rm{Mo}}}_{x}{{\rm{O}}}_{3}$ (x = 0, 0.5, 0.10 and 0.15) ceramics were synthesized by conventional solid-state reaction to evaluate the influence of Ba ^2+ and Mo ^6+ co-doping on the ...

Online Magnetization Trajectory Prediction and Current Control for a Variable-Flux Permanent Magnet Machine

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Online magnetization current control is a critical concern of the variable-flux permanent magnet machine control. Increasing the magnetization speed benefits the machine system, which reduces manipulation losses and mechanical impact.

About low field memory and negative magnetization in semiconductors and polymers

open access: yes, 2005
Ginzburg-Landau bulk magnetization of itinerant electrons can provide a negative effective field in the Weiss model by coupling to localized magnetic moments. The coupling enforces remnant magnetization, which can be negative or positive depending on the
