LEAD: Literature Enhanced Ab Initio Discovery of Nitride Dusting Layers for Enhanced Tunnel Magnetoresistance and Lower Resistance Magnetic Tunnel Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

異数倍数体を示す上咽頭腫瘍におけるmagnetization transfer ratio [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
Magnetization transfer ratios (MTRs) and DNA index of nasopharyngeal tumor were measured in 5 patients using a conventional 1.5 T MR system. The MTRs were calculated using a pair of images; one image was obtained with a MT-saturating-pulse on, and the ...

Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Magnetization Processes of Polycrystalline La0.7Pb0.3Mn1-xFexO3 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
[[abstract]]A systematic investigation of the magnetic properties in the perovskite materials La0.7Pb0.3Mn1−xFexO3 is presented in this study. The distortion induced by Mn-site substitution is not obvious as radii of Fe and Mn are similar for low Fe ...

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.

Self-Reversal of Remanent Magnetisation of Basalts - Origin, Mechanisms and Consequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
One of the main goals of current palaeomagnetic research is the attempt to acquire high-resolution data on palaeodirections and -intensities in order to obtain detailed information about the Earth's magnetic field in the geological past.
