Boosting Polysulfide Conversion on Fe‐Doped Nickel Diselenide Toward Robust Lithium–Sulfur Batteries
This work reports an advanced functional material based on Fe‐doped nickel diselenides toward robust lithium–sulfur batteries, demonstrating that Fe‐rich cores and surface doping enhance the density of states at the Fermi level and introduce unpaired electrons for the improvement of the LiPS adsorption and catalytic conversion. Abstract Sulfur offers a

Magnetization Dissipation in Ferromagnets from Scattering Theory
The magnetization dynamics of ferromagnets are often formulated in terms of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation. The reactive part of this equation describes the response of the magnetization in terms of effective fields, whereas the dissipative ...

Fractional Skyrmion Tubes in Chiral‐Interfaced 3D Magnetic Nanowires
In chiral 3D helical magnetic nanowires, the coupling between the geometric and magnetic chirality provides a way to create topological spin states like vortex tubes. Here, it is demonstrated how the breaking of this coupling in interfaced 3D nanowires of opposite chirality leads to even more complex topological spin states, such as fractional ...

Measuring the iron oxide in Shubarkol deposit coal
Comprehensive development of mineral resources is one of the main objectives of a state. An important role for its solution is the import substitution of expensive сolombian coals used in the production of industrial silicon, with shubarkol coals having

Electromechanical Magnetization Switching
We show that the magnetic moment of a composite multiferroic torsional oscillator can be switched by the electric field. The 180$^o$ switching arises from the spin-rotation coupling and is not prohibited by the different symmetry of the magnetic moment ...

Electrically conductive and room temperature magnetic atomically thin (≈0.8 nm) vanadium doped MoS2 (V‐MoS2) is demonstrated for its spintronic applications. Here, the spin transport at the interface of permalloy (Py) and high spin‐orbit coupling V‐MoS2 magnetic monolayers is shown.

Current-induced torques in textured Rashba ferromagnets
In systems with small spin-orbit coupling, current-induced torques on the magnetization require inhomogeneous magnetization textures. For large spin-orbit coupling, such torques exist even without gradients in the magnetization direction.
