Fermi Surface Nesting and Anomalous Hall Effect in Magnetically Frustrated Mn2PdIn

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mn2PdIn, a frustrated inverse Heusler alloy, showing electronic‐structure driven anomalous Hall effect with Weyl crossings, Fermi‐surface nesting and near‐zero magnetization ideal for low‐magnetization spintronics. Abstract Noncollinear magnets with near‐zero net magnetization and nontrivial bulk electronic topology hold significant promise for ...

Magnesioferrita e caminho pedogenético de transformação de óxidos de ferro magnéticos em dois perfis de solo derivados de tufito da região do Alto Paranaíba (MG) Magnesioferrite and pedogenetic transformation pathway of magnetic iron oxides in two soil profiles developing on tuffite of the Alto Paranaíba region, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil

Prominent bulk pinning effect in the MgB_2 superconductor

open access: yes, 2001
We report the magnetic-field dependence of the irreversible magnetization of the recently discovered binary superconductor MgB$_{2}$. For the temperature region of $T< 0.9T_c$, the contribution of the bulk pinning to the magnetization overwhelms that of ...

Magnetic structures, magnetic domains and topological magnetic textures of magnetic materials

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 2015
This article first gives a brief review of magnetic structures, magnetic domains and topological magnetic textures and their relations. On the one hand, the magnetic domains are determined by the magnetic structures, the intrinsic magnetic properties and the micro-structural factors of a material.

Exploiting Two‐Photon Lithography, Deposition, and Processing to Realize Complex 3D Magnetic Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two‐photon lithography (TPL) enables 3D magnetic nanostructures with unmatched freedom in geometry and material choice. Advances in voxel control, deposition, and functionalization open pathways to artificial spin ices, racetracks, microrobots, and a number of additional technological applications.

Out-of-plane magnetization reversal processes of (Ga,Mn)As with two different hole concentrations

open access: yes, 2006
We study magnetization reversal processes of in-plane magnetized (Ga,Mn)As epilayers with different hole concentrations in out-of-plane magnetic fields using magnetotransport measurements.

Two‐Dimensional Materials as a Multiproperty Sensing Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Various sensing modalities enabled and/or enhanced by two‐dimensional (2D) materials are reviewed. The domains considered for sensing include: 1) optoelectronics, 2) quantum defects, 3) scanning probe microscopy, 4) nanomechanics, and 5) bio‐ and chemosensing.

Remarks on the Quantum Effects of Screw Dislocation Topology and Missing Magnetic Flux

open access: yesCondensed Matter
We revisit the interaction between a point charge and an inhomogeneous magnetic field that yields the magnetic quantum dot system. This magnetic field is defined by filling the whole space, except for a region of radius r0.
