Giga-Gauss scale quasistatic magnetic field generation in an 'escargot' target
A simple setup for the generation of ultra-intense quasistatic magnetic fields, based on the generation of electron currents with a predefined geometry in a curved 'escargot' target, is proposed and analysed.

AbstractMagnetic particle imaging (MPI) is an emerging modality that can address longstanding technological challenges encountered with magnetic particle hyperthermia (MPH) cancer therapy. MPI is a tracer technology compatible with MPH for which magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) provide signal for MPI and heat for MPH.

This study develops sustainable MgO–C refractories using recycled materials and eco‐friendly fructose–tannin binders. The enhanced performance of citric acid as a cross‐linker and functional additives on mechanical and thermomechanical properties was examined. Characterization included strength tests, immersion trials, and microstructural and inclusion

Tunnelling effect of charged and magnetized particles from the Kerr–Newman–Kasuya black hole
In this Letter, we extend the Parikh–Wilczek tunnelling framework to calculate the emission rate of a particle with electric and magnetic charges. We first reconstruct the electromagnetic field tensor and the Lagrangian of the field corresponding to the ...

This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

Positron-acoustic solitary stability in magnetized plasmas with nonthermal particles
This study investigates the dynamics of positron-acoustic waves (PAWs) in a magnetized, collisionless, four-component plasma system consisting of static ions, mobile cold positrons, and nonthermal distributed hot electrons and hot positrons.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...
