Ultrafine Magnetic Particles

1991
Fine magnetic particles are scientifically and technologically very important. The particles are of great scientific interest in developing a better understanding of magnetic phenomena. From the technological point of view, they find wide applications in many types of materials including magnetic tapes, ferrofluids, catalysts, medical diagnostics, drug

Amorphous Magnetic Particles

1994
Ultrafine particles of amorphous alloys can be prepared by chemical methods. Alloy particles containing transition metals and boron can be prepared by reduction of the transition metal ions in aqueous solution by use of NaBH4. The composition of the particles depends on the preparation conditions.

Magnetic-Particle-Imaging

2012

Magnetic Particle Inspection

1988
Magnetic particle inspection is a sensitive method of locating surface and some sub-surface defects in ferro-magnetic components. The basic processing parameters depend on relatively simple concepts. In essence, when a ferro-magnetic component is magnetised, magnetic discontinuities that lie in a direction approximately perpendicular to the field ...
