Water heater by magnetic induction

CONIELECOMP 2013, 23rd International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Computing, 2013
The technology within engineering has carry out a variety of innovations that answer and solve social, economic and environment problems. The water heater by magnetic induction is a new device that is proposed to heat the shower water as it obeys the excessive water wasting during this activity, so it anticipates a water and gas saving. The proposal is

Magnetic freezing of confined water

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2010
We report results from molecular dynamic simulations of the freezing transition of liquid water in the nanoscale hydrophobic confinement under the influence of a homogeneous external magnetic field of 10 T along the direction perpendicular to the parallel plates.

The levitation of magnetized water by a superconductive magnetic-field and its magnetism

2015 IEEE International Conference on Applied Superconductivity and Electromagnetic Devices (ASEMD), 2015
The levitation of magnetized water are carried out using the superconductive magnetic-flied generated by our device. Thus the magnetism of magnetized water is experimentally confirmed.

Dispersion Destabilization in Magnetic Water Treatment

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2001
The destabilization of fine nonmagnetic particles as one of the possible mechanisms for magnetic water treatment (MWT), an alternative method for scale control in industrial water processing and amelioration of dispersion separations, is discussed.

Nuclear magnetic relaxation of water in hydrogels

Biomaterials, 1990
Nuclear magnetic relaxation was used to investigate the dynamic behaviour of water molecules in p(HEMA) gels. Results indicate that the rotational mobility of water in p(HEMA) gels is significantly reduced compared to that in pure water. The rotational mobility was mainly determined by total degree of swelling of the gels, and not by cross-linker ...

Magnetic water treatment

2008
INTRODUCTION The buildup of scale deposits inside cooling water pipes and boilers presents a very costly problem in many industrial processes. Scale deposits significantly reduce heat transfer efficiency and can lead to partial or even complete blockage of the water flow passage inside the pipes. Several techniques can be used to remove scale deposits,

Nuclear magnetic relaxation in water revisited

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2011
In this study, we revisited nuclear magnetic relaxation of 1H in water at very low Larmor frequencies that has been studied intensively in earlier years. We make use of the recently developed superconducting quantum interference device based ultra-low field NMR technique, which enables much easier access to the longitudinal spin-lattice relaxation time

Magnetic water treatment for scale prevention

Water Research, 2001
A home-made magnetic device was built with permanent magnets for treating scaling waters. Its efficiency was evaluated by measuring the remaining ionic calcium at the output of the device by means of an ion selective electrode. The scaling power of the treated water was estimated through an electrochemical scaling test.

Water Cooled Magnets

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1962
This paper discusses the construction of water cooled solenoids at power levels ranging from 1 to 100 Mw and with cylindrical inner working spaces having radii ranging from 1 to 10 cm. A first limitation is due to the fact that the power density in the magnet cannot exceed a value set by the surface cooling rate allowable in the water passages. Present
