Substrate‐Dependent Anisotropy and Damping in Epitaxial Bismuth Yttrium Iron Garnet Thin Films
Iron garnets that combine robust perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) with low Gilbert damping are desirable for studies of magnetization dynamics as well as spintronic device development.

Tunable perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in epitaxial Y3Fe5O12 films
High quality epitaxial (111) Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) films are fabricated by annealing amorphous precursor films that are sputtering deposited on three kinds of single crystal garnet substrates with lattice constants exceeding that of YIG by a ratio from 0.76% to

Amorphous microwires with enhanced magnetic softness and GMI characteristics
In this paper we present results on correlation of GMI effect and soft magnetic behavior in Co-rich microwires with low magnetostriction constant. Correlation between magnetoelastic anisotropy and magnetic field dependences of diagonal and off-diagonal ...

Proximity Induced Magnetic Anisotropy and Trefoil Fermiology in Monolayer FeCl2/Bi(111). [PDF]
Reorientation of magnetic anisotropy in a 2D van der Waals magnet is demonstrated in monolayer FeCl2 epitaxially grown on a bismuth substrate, from its natural out‐of‐plane direction to a predominantly in‐plane orientation. The FeCl2/bismuth heterostructure exhibits moiré‐induced interface states, suggesting strong coupling at the interface.

Micromagnetic analysis of magnetization reversal in Fe77.5Si7.5B15 amorphous glass-coated nanowires
A micromagnetic model based on the finite element method (FEM) is proposed in order to investigate the specific role of the magnetoelastic anisotropy in the axial magnetization reversal process of highly magnetostrictive amorphous glass-coated nanowires ...

Spin Hall magnetoresistance in antiferromagnet/heavy-metal heterostructures [PDF]
We investigate the spin Hall magnetoresistance in thin film bilayer heterostructures of the heavy metal Pt and the antiferromagnetic insulator NiO. While rotating an external magnetic field in the easy plane of NiO, we record the longitudinal and the ...
