Non‐collinear magnetism is of high interest in the field of magnetoelectrics supplying a convenient mechanism to break inversion symmetry and thereby allowing for a spontaneous electrical polarization. Such “multiferroics of spin origin” are inherently suitable for electric field control of magnetism, offering a route toward low power ICT applications.

Topological Polar Textures in van der Waals Moiré Superlattices
Moiré superlattices allow the realization of several novel properties, including the formation of complex topological polarization textures in ultrathin samples consisting of layered 2D materials. This review highlights the rapid progress in this emerging field, both through theory and experiment, discusses the field's potential implications, and draws

Exploring Routes to Calculating the Effective Magnetic Permeability of Polymer Magnetic Composites
Schematic of a static (undeformed) configuration of the magnetic‐filled polymer network for a semi‐crystalline sample. ABSTRACT Our understanding of the effective magnetic permeability of composite materials composed of randomly dispersed metallic ferromagnetic particles within a nonmagnetic (polymer) matrix must respond to several challenges.

Magnetoelectric effect of multiferroic metals
Much is known about the magnetoelectric effect of multiferroic insulators, yet little is understood about multiferroic metals. In this work, we employ first-principles calculations to identify the sliding van der Waals bilayer $1T$-NbTe$_2$ as a multiferroic metal, where in-plane metallicity coexists with out-of-plane polarization and magnetism.
