Photonics of Topological Magnetic Textures

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Localized noncollinear magetic textures imprint their geometry and topology onto traversing photonic fields endowing them with orbital angular‐momentum, chirality, and magnetoelectric densities. Abstract Topological textures in magnetically ordered materials are an important case studies for fundamental research with promising applications in data ...

Resonance line shape, strain and electric potential distributions of composite magnetoelectric sensors

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2013
Multiferroic composite magnetoelectric (ME) sensors are based on the elastic coupling of a magnetostrictive phase and a piezoelectric phase. A deformation of the magnetostrictive phase causes strain in the piezoelectric phase and thus an induced voltage.

Geometry–Dependent Magnetoelectric and Exchange Bias Effects of the Nano L–T Mode Bar Structure Magnetoelectric Sensor

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
The geometry–dependent magnetoelectric (ME) and exchange bias (EB) effects of the nano ME sensor were investigated. The sensor consisted of the Longitudinal–Transverse (L–T) mode bi–layer bar structure comprising the ferromagnetic (FM) and ferroelectric (

Magnetically Responsive Piezoelectric Nanocapacitors Enhance Neural Recovery Following Spinal Cord Injury via Targeted Spinal Magnetic Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel “in vivo–in vitro” therapeutic strategy for spinal cord injury by leveraging magnetically responsive piezoelectric nanomaterials. These nanomaterials enable targeted delivery of localized electrical stimulation at the injury site through noninvasive external magnetic actuation, thereby promoting axonal regeneration and ...

Polyzwitterionic Organohydrogel and Soft Composite with Tunable Sol–Gel Properties Enabling On‐Demand Functionalization with Colloids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Poly[2‐(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethyl‐(3‐sulfopropyl)ammonium hydroxide‐based organohydrogels are formed via nonsolvent‐induced gelation, featuring tunable viscoelasticity. Functional fillers (MXene nanosheets, magnetic NdFeB microparticles) enable electrical, magnetic, and mechanical responsiveness for applications in mechano‐tunable electromagnetic ...

A flexible, high-performance magnetoelectric heterostructure of (001) oriented Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 film grown on Ni foil

open access: yesAPL Materials, 2017
In this study, a flexible magnetoelectric (ME) heterostructure of PZT/Ni was fabricated by depositing a (001) oriented Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 (PZT) film on a thin, flexible Ni foil buffered with LaNiO3/HfO2.
