MRI and Implant Safety at Low‐Field and Ultralow‐Field Strengths

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Volume 63, Issue 2, Page 364-377, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Despite its unequivocal value in radiological diagnosis, access to conventional high‐field MRI systems remains extremely uneven across the world. Access is particularly limited in underfunded and remote settings, due to the high cost and infrastructure requirements of MRI systems.

Forecasting Local Ionospheric Parameters Using Transformers

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract We present a novel method for forecasting key ionospheric parameters using transformer‐based neural networks. The model provides accurate forecasts and uncertainty quantification of the F2‐layer peak plasma frequency (foF2), the F2‐layer peak density height (hmF2), and total electron content for a given geographic location.

Hydrogen Utilization as a Plasma Source for Magnetohydrodynamic Direct Power Extraction (MHD-DPE)

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study explores the suitability of hydrogen-based plasma in direct power extraction (DPE) as a non-conventional electricity generation method. We apply computational modeling and principles in physics and chemistry to estimate different thermal and ...

Reconstructing Magnetotail Reconnection Events Using Data Mining is Feasible and Repeatable

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract Recently, Stephens et al. (2023), https://doi.org/10.1029/2022ja031066 utilized a data mining (DM) algorithm, applied to 26 years of magnetospheric magnetometer observations coupled with a flexible formulation of the magnetospheric magnetic field, to reconstruct the global configuration of the magnetotail when the Magnetospheric MultiScale ...

Entropy Generation Analysis OF Mhd Micropolar – Nanofluid Flow Over A Moved And Permeable Vertical Plate

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering
The work's goal is to learn more about how a magnetic field, Brownian motion, and thermophoresis diffusion influence convective heat transfer in a micropolar-nanofluid flow's laminar boundary layer.

Low Frequency Oscillation Observed in the Ionosphere Around the Substorm Onsets

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Abstract Three substorm events in which Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) spacecraft are geomagnetically co‐located with substorm onset locations in IMAGE far ultraviolet auroral images are analyzed. A Hilbert‐Huang Transform is used to decompose the DMSP B⊥ ${B}_{\perp }$ in the ionosphere to its intrinsic mode functions. A dominant mode
