Magnetohydrodynamic simulation of capillary plasmas

1998
The dynamics of capillary plasmas in regimes where soft x-ray amplification has been observed is investigated by means of a magnetohydrodynamic one-dimensional code that takes into account dissipative processes, ablation, and ionization of the wall material.

Filamentary Magnetohydrodynamic Simulation Using MDGRAPE-2

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2003
A simulation model of the “magnetohydrodynamic” vortex method, current‐vortex method, is developed. The concept is based on the current‐vortex filament model. In general, the vortex method needs much calculation time for the Biot‐Savart integral. To overcome this problem, we use MDGRAPE‐2.
