Magnetoimpedance Effect on Single NiFe Nanowire
In this study, Ni82Fe18 nanowires were deposited on Au-coated porous anodic alumina oxide (AAO) template by electrochemically. Scanning electron microscopy showed that wires have diameters of about 250–310 nm and length of 50–60 μm. NiFe nanowire arrays embedded in AAO were mechanically polished until nanowires appeared. Later, electrical contacts were

Current distribution and giant magnetoimpedance in composite wires with helical magnetic anisotropy
The giant magnetoimpedance effect in composite wires consising of a non-magnetic inner core and soft magnetic shell is studied theoretically. It is assumed that the magnetic shell has a helical anisotropy.

Nonlinear Magnetoimpedance Effect in FeCoNi Ferromagnetic Tubes [PDF]
[EN] The very high (up to 820% of the magnetoimpedance ratio) and sensitive nonlinear giant magnetoimpedance effect has been studied in the FeCoNi magnetic tubes electroplated onto Cu(3%)Be nonmagnetic wire for frequencies from 1-10 MHz. Special annealing was carried out in order to induce the magnetic anisotropy.

Modeling of torsion stress giant magnetoimpedance in amorphous wires with negative magnetostriction
A model describing the influence of torsion stress on the giant magnetoimpedance in amorphous wires with negative magnetostriction is proposed. The wire impedance is found by means of the solution of Maxwell equations together with the Landau-Lifshitz ...

Soft Magnetic Amorphous Microwires for Stress and Temperature Sensory Applications
Amorphous ferromagnetic materials in the form of microwires are of interest for the development of various sensors. This paper analyzes and argues for the use of microwires of two basic compositions of Co71Fe5B11Si10Cr3 and Fe3.9(4.9)Co64.82B10.2Si12Cr9 ...

Operation Regimes and Design Principles of Delta‐E Effect Sensors
Delta‐E effect magnetoelectric sensors enable the detection of weak magnetic fields, yet performance optimization remains nontrivial due to coupled magnetic, mechanical, and electronic losses. A systematic study of 24 miniaturized MEMS devices with different geometries reveals three excitation‐dependent regimes: electronic‐noise, magnetic‐noise, and ...
