QUARTZ MAGNETOMETER-GRADIOMETER

open access: yesThemed collection of papers from Foreign international scientific conference «Joint innovation - joint development». by HNRI «National development» in cooperation with PS of UA. February 2024. - Cuangzhou (China)
The work is devoted to the description of the design of a magnetometer-gradiometer created on the basis of quartz sensors, which has the ability to carry out synchronous measurements at two points spaced apart in space on a fixed or arbitrarily located "measuring base" ∆L with different distances of these measuring points from each other. The device is

A Smartphone Magnetometer-Based Diagnostic Test for Automatic Contact Tracing in Infectious Disease Epidemics

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Smartphone magnetometer readings exhibit high linear correlation when two phones coexist within a short distance. Thus, the detected coexistence can serve as a proxy for close human contact events, and one can conceive using it as a possible automatic ...

Magnetic Anisotropy Modulation via van der Waals Gap Engineering in 2D Ferromagnet Fe4GeTe2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a new route to control magnetic anisotropy in 2D ferromagnets via van der Waals gap engineering. In Fe4GeTe2, an interface‐induced vdW gap expansion is found to anomalously enhance in‐plane magnetic anisotropy while suppressing the spin reorientation transition.

An Advanced High‐Performance Ultrafast Ammonium‐Ion Aqueous Battery Based on Dual‐Metal Redox Open Framework Molecular Magnet

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Prussian Blue Analogue molecular magnet KMnFeHCF is demonstrated as a high‐performance cathode for ultra‐fast aqueous ammonium‐ion batteries. A full cell using KMnFeHCF and graphite delivers ~71 mAh g−1 at 1.25 A g−1 and ~51 mAh g−1 at 2.2 A g−1, retaining 50% capacity after 1850 cycles. Its scalability, cycling stability, and low cost offer strong

The Z3 model of Saturns magnetic field and the Pioneer 11 vector helium magnetometer observations [PDF]

open access: yes
Magnetic field observations obtained by the Pioneer 11 vector helium magnetometer are compared with the Z(sub 3) model magnetic field. These Pioneer 11 observations, obtained at close-in radial distances, constitute an important and independent test of ...

Water‐Efficient Smart Drip Irrigation Enabled by a Low‐Power and High‐Efficiency Flexible Electromagnetic Actuator

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Water scarcity poses a critical threat to global food security. A low‐power, flexible electromagnetic actuator is presented for smart drip irrigation systems. The device achieves precise, wide‐range flow modulation (0.05–5.8 mL/min) in response to real‐time plant demands, reducing water consumption compared to conventional flood irrigation.
