Investigation of exact soliton solutions in magneto-optic waveguides and its stability analysis

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2021
This paper deals the propagation of waves through magneto-optic waveguides which are modeled by the generalized vector nonlinear Schrodinger’s equation (NLSE).

Major loop reconstruction from switching of individual particles [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Major hysteresis loops of groups of isolated 60 mm square garnet particles of a regular two-dimensional array, have been measured magnetooptically. Individual loops for each particle were measured, and the statistics of the distribution of coercivities

Operation Regimes and Design Principles of Delta‐E Effect Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, Volume 5, Issue 4, April 2026.
Delta‐E effect magnetoelectric sensors enable the detection of weak magnetic fields, yet performance optimization remains nontrivial due to coupled magnetic, mechanical, and electronic losses. A systematic study of 24 miniaturized MEMS devices with different geometries reveals three excitation‐dependent regimes: electronic‐noise, magnetic‐noise, and ...

Temporal Faraday and Other Magneto-Optic Effects

open access: yesPhotonics
We consider temporal optical effects in the presence of static fields, and more generally in anisotropic optical media, such as magnetized materials. Magneto-optical effects are due not just to phase shifts between the different eigenmodes, as in static ...

Optimized magneto-optical isolator designs inspired by seedlayer-free terbium iron garnets with opposite chirality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Simulations demonstrate that undoped yttrium iron garnet (YIG) seedlayers cause reduced Faraday rotation in silicon-on-insulator (SOI) waveguides with Ce-doped YIG claddings.

Exploiting Two‐Photon Lithography, Deposition, and Processing to Realize Complex 3D Magnetic Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 20, 9 March 2026.
Two‐photon lithography (TPL) enables 3D magnetic nanostructures with unmatched freedom in geometry and material choice. Advances in voxel control, deposition, and functionalization open pathways to artificial spin ices, racetracks, microrobots, and a number of additional technological applications.

Magnetic Circular Dichroism Elucidates Molecular Interactions in Aggregated Chiral Organic Materials

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 136, Issue 1, January 2, 2024.
Magnetic circular dichroism gives access to the geometry and interactions leading to the supramolecular structure of a thin film of an organic chiral molecule. The technique presented here may be applied to elucidate the structures of aggregates of organic compounds.

Optical memory disks in optical information processing [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
We describe the use of optical memory disks as elements in optical information processing architectures. The optical disk is an optical memory devicew ith a storage capacity approaching 1010b its which is naturally suited to parallel access.

Determination of activation volumes of reversal in perpendicular media [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We discuss a method for the determination of activation volumes of reversal in perpendicular media. This method does not require correction for the self-demagnetizing field normally associated with these media.

Controlling Bubble and Skyrmion Lattice Order and Dynamics via Stripe Domain Engineering in Ferrimagnetic Fe/Gd Multilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 3, March 2026.
The density and ordering of the bubble/skyrmion lattice hosted by Fe/Gd multilayers can be significantly enhanced using an in‐plane field to align the stripe domain state. As a result, the laser‐induced breathing mode dynamics are strongly modified, showing both an increased amplitude and frequency.
