Magnetospheric electric fields and currents
Reviews of Geophysics, 1987With special, but not exclusive, emphasis on contributions made by scientists within the United States, we review scientific progress made in understanding the character and operation of macroscopic, earth magnetospheric electric fields and electric currents within the time frame 1983 to 1986, inclusive.

The Contribution of Magnetospheric Currents to Sq
pure and applied geophysics, 1989Since the discovery of the magnetosphere, it has been known that the currents flowing in the magnetosphere contribute to Sq, the regular daily variation in the earth’s surface magnetic field. The early models, however, were not very accurate in the vicinity of the earth.

Large scale magnetospheric turbulence and the topology of magnetospheric currents
Advances in Space Research, 2000Abstract Interball project includes comparison of experimental observations with existing magnetospheric theory predictions and the development of new approaches to the description of magnetospheric processes. As a result of such an investigation a self-consistent theory of large- and medium-scale magnetospheric convection was suggested.
