Magnetic Fabric: A Geophysical Approach for Identifying China's Neolithic Rammed Earth

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Accurate identification of rammed‐earth remains is essential for understanding early social complexity in Neolithic China. However, scientific methods for identifying rammed‐earth materials in Chinese prehistoric archeology remain limited, and identification still rely largely on field observations.

Unidirectional Magnetostatic Waves

open access: yes, 2005
Dispersion characteristics of magnetostatic waves in tangentially magnetized to saturation ferrite film with a "magnetic wall" condition (tangential component of microwave magnetic field is equal to zero) on the one of the film surface were calculated.

MAGTWIST: A Magnetically‐Driven Rotary Actuator Using a Traveling‐Wave With Integrated Stiffness Tunability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 31, 16 April 2026.
MAGTWIST: A compact magnetic rotary actuator, enabling smooth, stepless rotation, and on‐demand locking. Inspired by peristalsis, a soft polymer belt generates a traveling‐wave, enabling 270° rotation when heated. Cooling stiffens the belt, locking it in position and enabling it to withstand high loads.

Bulk Spin-Wave Filtration at the Interface of Two Uniaxial Ferromagnetic Media [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2012
In this paper the dependencies are obtained of spin wave reflection coefficients on frequency and external magnetic field for ferromagnetic structure in the exchange mode, when the influence of magnetostatic part of energy is neglected as compared with ...

Modeling Liquid‐Mediated Interactions for Close‐to‐Substrate Magnetic Microparticle Transport in Dynamic Magnetic Field Landscapes

open access: yesParticle &Particle Systems Characterization, Volume 43, Issue 4, April 2026.
The trajectory of a single magnetic particle moving close to a polymer surface in a tailored magnetic field landscape surrounded by a static fluid is quantified using an adjustable simulation model. Varying simulation parameters give insights in key properties of magnetic particle‐based Lab‐on‐a‐chip systems for medical diagnostics.

From 0D to 3D: Structural Design of Metal‐Organic Framework‐Derived Composites for Next‐Generation Microwave Absorption

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
This review establishes a dimensional engineering paradigm for MOF‐derived absorbers, transitioning from discrete 0D units to 3D composite architectures. It highlights dimension–structure–performance correlations and provides insights into data‐driven and sustainable design for future high‐efficiency microwave absorption, aiming to guide the ...

Magnetostatic Waves in Structure with Two Anisotropic Layers with Noncollinear Orientation of Magnetizations

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2013
In this paper we present a theoretical investigation of the magnetostatic volume wave propagation in bilayer structure consisted of two ferromagnetic layers.

Thickness‐Dependent Skyrmion Evolution in Fe3GeTe2 During Magnetization Reversal

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 18, 2 March 2026.
Thickness‐ and field‐dependent magnetic domain behavior in 2D van der Waals Fe3GeTe2 is studied using Lorentz TEM and micromagnetic simulations. A patch‐like domain phase evolves from skyrmions during magnetization reversal, and step edges between thickness regions act as pinning sites.

Magnetostatic waves in the gap between two ferromagnetic with longitudinal magnetizations that move relative to each other

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2013
The propagation of a magnetostatic gap wave in a gap between two ferromagnetic with opposite longitudinal magnetizations is considered under the conditions for relative longitudinal displacement.
