Left-Handed Magnetostatic Surface Waves
The characteristics of magnetostatic surface waves at microwave frequencies in a layered structure of left- handed material film and a semi-infinite linear ferrite substrate have been investigated. The effects of the applied external magnetic field around the proposed region have also been examined.

Magnetic Textiles: A Review of Materials, Fabrication, Properties, and Applications
Magnetic textiles (M‐textiles) are emerging as a programmable materials platform that merges magnetic matter with hierarchical textile structures. This article consolidates magnetic material classes, textile architectures, and fabrication and magnetization strategies, revealing structure–property–function relationships that govern magneto‐mechanical ...

ABSTRACT The growing deployment of high‐frequency electronic systems has intensified the demand for high‐performance microwave absorption materials. In this work, we developed La‐V co‐substituted barium hexaferrites, Ba1‐xLaxFe11.9V0.1O19 (BLFVO), via a sol‐gel route.

Advancing Heliophysics and Space Weather Modeling Through Open Science
Abstract We present a community‐wide effort to develop a strategy and action plan to advance heliophysics and space weather modeling through open science. While open science has the potential to enhance the quality and pace of scientific discovery, its application to scientific modeling requires more careful consideration regarding open data and open ...

Magnetic Fabric: A Geophysical Approach for Identifying China's Neolithic Rammed Earth
Abstract Accurate identification of rammed‐earth remains is essential for understanding early social complexity in Neolithic China. However, scientific methods for identifying rammed‐earth materials in Chinese prehistoric archeology remain limited, and identification still rely largely on field observations.

Detection of focused beams of surface magnetostatic waves in YIG / Pt structures [PDF]
The purpose of this work is to experimentally study, using the inverse spin Hall effect (ISHE), the detection of focused beams of magnetostatic surface waves (MSSW) in integrated YIG (3.9 µm) / Pt (4 nm) thin-film microstructures, where the ...
