Earth‐abundant metal‐ and non‐metal‐modified porous carbons offer a highly tunable platform for electrochemical CO2 reduction. This review shows how electronic interactions, active‐site coordination, pore architecture, and cooperative catalytic effects jointly govern intermediate stabilization, product selectivity, and device‐relevant CO2RR performance.

Covalent linkage of a highly crystalline PHBV with a ductile P3HB4HB is shown to produce block copolymers with markedly enhanced extensibility and toughness, outperforming equivalent blends. The results demonstrate that polymer architecture, not composition alone, governs mechanical response, offering a route to biodegradable materials that combine ...

Renormalization and blow up for wave maps from $S^2 \times \mathbb{R}$ to $S^2$ [PDF]
We construct a one parameter family of nite time blow ups to the co-rotational wave maps problem from $S^2\times R$ to $S^2$ parameterized by $\nu \epsilon (\frac{1}{2},1]$.

Electrochemical fluorination (ECF, Simons process) is a valuable method for the fluorination of partially fluorinated dialkyl ethers, providing an inexpensive, scalable, and safe access to partially fluorinated ethers with a higher fluorine content and the perfluorinated analogues that are hardly accessible using other fluorination techniques ...

Scattering threshold for the focusing energy-critical generalized Hartree equation
This work investigates the asymptotic behavior of energy solutions to the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation of Choquard type i∂tu+Δu+∣u∣p−2(Iα*∣u∣p)u=0,p=1+2+αN−2,N≥3.i{\partial }_{t}u+\Delta u+{| u| }^{p-2}\left({I}_{\alpha }* {| u| }^{p})u=0 ...

This work explores generative AI for automated revision of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). We frame P&ID correction as a translation problem, converting attributed P&ID graphs into sequences and learning revisions with a transformer‐based model.

Abstract Engineering graduate students confuse the scientific method and problem solving when presenting their pre‐doctoral exams and theses: Science discourse adopts question and hypotheses to assert and establish a study's rationale, while it is problem and objectives in engineering design.

Existence and blow-up of solutions for a semilinear filtration problem
We first examine the existence and uniqueness of local solutions to the semilinear filtration equation $u_t=Delta K(u)+lambda f(u)$, for $lambda>0$, with initial data $u_0geq 0$ and appropriate boundary conditions. Our main result is the proof of blow-

Investigating the Cytoskeleton of DRGs Using Cryo‐Electron Microscopy and Deep Learning
ABSTRACT We describe a method for determining the ultrastructural organization of axons and varicosities of cultured dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons using cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo‐EM). Cryo‐EM reveals the dimensions, proximity, and overall organization of biological specimens in a near‐native state, avoiding artifacts of fixation and ...
