Results support scoring the scale at the subdomain level and provisionally at the total‐score level. The total‐score can be calculated as a sum of the 41 SAAD items, with the sum referred to as the SAAD‐41‐Total.

Otologic Surgery Risk Prediction: Risk Analysis Index‐Administrative Versus Modified Frailty Index‐5
The Laryngoscope, EarlyView.In a national cohort of 2862 patients undergoing otologic surgery, the risk analysis index‐administrative (RAI‐A) outperformed the modified frailty index‐5 (mFI‐5) in predicting key 30‐day postoperative outcomes, including mortality, complications, surgical site infection, extended length of stay, and nonhome discharge.
