Preventive maintenance models with random maintenance quality [PDF]
In real-world environments it is usually difficult to specify the quality of a preventive maintenance (PM) action precisely. This uncertainty makes it problematic to optimise maintenance policy. This problem is tackled in this paper by assuming that the quality of a PM action is a random variable following a probability distribution.

An ERP maintenance model [PDF]
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) maintenance and upgrade activities are receiving much attention in ERP-using organizations. Annual maintenance costs approximate 25% of initial ERP implementation costs, and upgrade costs as much as 25-33% of the initial ERP implementation.

Maintenance processes modelling and optimisation [PDF]
A Maintenance Procedure is conducted in order to prevent the failure of a system or to restore the functionality of a failed system. Such a procedure consists of a series of tasks, each of which has a distribution of times to complete and a probability of being performed incorrectly. The inclusion of tests can be used to identify any maintenance errors

The application of delay-time model for technical systems preventive maintenance
The 'delay time' preventive maintenance model which is based on the condition of a technical system stated during a scheduled checking, i.e., on so estimated 'delay time' to failure, is presented.
