Software quality maintenance model
Proceedings IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance - 1999 (ICSM'99). 'Software Maintenance for Business Change' (Cat. No.99CB36360), 1999We develop a quality control and prediction model for improving the quality of software delivered by development to maintenance. This model identifies modules that require priority attention during development and maintenance. The model also predicts during development the quality that will be delivered to maintenance.

Maintenance Action Model for Virtual Maintenance Simulation
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2004<div class="htmlview paragraph"><i>Requirements of maintenance simulation and related works are examined. We represent the decomposition of maintenance for simulation. The information of human movement and motion is described in the maintenance simulation, and should be defined as maintenance therblig.

Dynamic model for maintenance and testing effort
Proceedings. International Conference on Software Maintenance (Cat. No. 98CB36272), 2002The dynamic evolution of ecological systems in which predators and prey compete for survival has been investigated by applying suitable mathematical models. Dynamic systems theory provides a useful way to model interspecies competition and thus the evolution of predator and prey populations. This kind of mathematical framework has been shown to be well

A Maintenance Model for Clinical Engineering
IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Magazine, 1985The numbers presented here for an equipment maintenance model are derived from a mix of soft data and intuition based on experience. They relate best to university hospitals in the 250-400-bed range. They relate better to numbers of devices than number of beds. In summary, they are: 1. Ideal technician workload = 400 to 550 devices. 2.

Modelling Maintenance – Cost Optimised Maintenance in Shipping
2020Most ship management companies base the operational cost calculation on scheduled maintenance jobs. Scheduled maintenance jobs do not take unforeseen maintenance into account. This under-estimates the operational budget. The estimation of the operational costs can be improved by including the unforeseen maintenance costs.
