Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

GNN-DRL Optimization Scheduling Method for Damaged Equipment Maintenance Tasks
Aiming at the problems that traditional heuristic algorithms struggle to capture the complex correlations between damaged equipment and dynamically adjust maintenance task requirements in different task scenarios, the Graph Neural Network (GNN) and Deep ...

A Mathematical Model for HVLV Systems Scheduling and Optimization With Periodic Preventive Maintenance Using (max, +) Algebra [PDF]
International audienceThe High-Variety, Low-Volume (HVLV) scheduling problem is one of the most arduous combinatorial optimization problems. This paper considers an interesting formulation of the HVLV scheduling problem using (max, +) algebra while ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Modelling a Maintenance Scheduling Problem with Alternative Resources [PDF]
Effective management of maintenance in buildings can have a signi cant impact on the total life cycle costs and on the building energy use. Nevertheless, the building maintenance scheduling problem has been infrequently studied. In this paper, we present

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
