Standardizing Benchmarks for Plant Genomic Prediction
Genomic prediction (GP) is now widely used in crop improvement, but the rapid expansion of GP methods has outpaced the development of standardized evaluation practices. Reported gains from deep learning and other complex models are difficult to interpret

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

A high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of the wild sorghum (Sorghum virgatum)
Sorghum virgatum (Sv) is a wild subspecies of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor ssp. Verticilliflorum (L.) Moench). We employed Hi-C sequencing and HiFi technology in this study, successfully assembly a high-quality genome for Sv.

Crystal Structural Analysis of Oryza sativa SGT1-TPR Domain
SGT1 (the suppressor of the G2 allele of Skp1) functions as an adaptor protein that positively regulates plant defense and developmental processes. It comprises three functional domains: the tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) domain, Chord SGT1 motif (CS ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...
