Zur Darstellung wird die Losung von 2 g frischgefalltem Nb2O5 · aq in 100 ml einer 5%igen wasrigen Apfelsaure (C4H6O5)-Losung (pH etwa 2.6) auf dem Wasserbad auf 40 ml eingeengt, mit der gesattigten wasrigen Losung von 1 g NaCl bzw. 1.5 g KCI versetzt und zur Kristallisation 1 Woche gekuhlt.
