Correlation Between Functional Scores and Objective Gait Parameters Following Rotating Hinge Knee Megaprosthesis Reconstruction

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 5, Page 1042-1053, May 2026.
Using a wearable gait system, we compared MSTS, TESS, and KSS with objective spatiotemporal metrics in patients after rotating‐hinge knee reconstruction. TESS showed the highest median R 2 and stronger correlations with walking velocity and step/stride length, outperforming MSTS and KSS.

Oncolytic Therapy: Delivery System and New Therapeutic Strategies for Cancer

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
This review summarizes recent advances in nanoparticle‐ and cell‐mediated OVs delivery strategies that improve biodistribution and tumor targeting while limiting immune clearance. It also examines combination approaches that enhance therapeutic efficacy through tumor microenvironment modulation or immune activation, thereby overcoming immunosuppression

Vascular Reconstruction in Extremity Soft Tissue Sarcomas: A Systematic Review and Single‐Arm Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Surgical Oncology, Volume 133, Issue 4, Page 486-510, March 15, 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction The management of extremity soft tissue sarcomas (STS) involving major vessels presents unique challenges, historically leading to amputation. Advances in vascular reconstruction have enabled limb‐sparing surgery (LSS), but outcomes and perioperative risks remain uncertain.

Real‐World Experience of Efficacy and Tolerability of Continuous Infusion Ifosfamide for Advanced Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Patients: A Single Centre Retrospective Cohort

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background In the absence of randomized trials, selecting second or later‐line therapies in advanced sarcoma generally hinges on histology, patient performance status, and toxicity profile. We herein report a real‐world sarcoma referral center experience on continuous infusion Ifosfamide (ciIFO), in advanced Soft tissue sarcomas (STS) and bone

A Giant Thoracic ALK‐Rearranged Mesenchymal Neoplasm in a Child

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Mesenchymal neoplasms characterized by ALK fusions mainly include inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) and epithelioid fibrous histiocytomas (EFHs). More recently, ALK‐rearranged mesenchymal tumors that are not IMTs or EFHs, characterized by S100 and CD34 coexpression, have been reported in a few small series and isolated case
