Radiation‐Absorptive Heat Transport in Buoyancy‐Driven MHD Nanofluids Flow With Cross‐Diffusion and Chemical Interaction Effects Over a Vertical Moving Plate

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article investigates the Soret–Dufour cross‐diffusion effects on radiation‐absorptive unsteady free‐convection of magnetized nanofluids (TiO2–water$$ {\mathrm{TiO}}_2\hbox{--} \mathrm{water} $$ and Cu–water$$ \mathrm{Cu}\hbox{--} \mathrm{water} $$) flow over a vertical moving permeable plate.

Epidemiological Survey and Genomic Insights Into Ostreid Herpesvirus 1 Transmission in the Blood Clam Anadara broughtonii in China (2019–2025)

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Seven‐year surveillance reveals a cold‐adapted OsHV‐1 lineage in blood clams, with disease onset at 13°C—3–5°C lower than in oysters—and identifies asymptomatic carriers and facility effluent as key transmission routes. ABSTRACT Ostreid herpesvirus 1 (OsHV‐1) poses a major threat to bivalve aquaculture, but its impact on blood clams (Anadara ...

Capital Structure Choice When Managers Are in Control: Entrenchment versus Efficiency* [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Business, 2003
In the free-cash-flow theory, shareholders use debt to discipline managers and maximize firm value. In contrast, managerial models assume that, without a takeover threat, managers will not lever up to constrain themselves. This article demonstrates that a takeover threat is unlikely to reconcile these two theories.
