International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 1988Voluntary dental students received 1 injection of 1,8 ml 3% Prilocain-fenylpressin. The injection was directed beneath the mylohyoid muscle immediately behind the distal root of the first molar in order to achieve anesthesia of the mylohyoid nerve. A partial anesthesia was achieved in 21% of the subjects.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1982A direct and simple operation of transfer of the anterior belly of the digastric muscle with its attached tendon is presented. It was carried out in 36 patients, with three minor complications. It has proved effective in paralysis of the mandibular division of the facial nerve as a primary or secondary procedure.
