An ACO Algorithm for Effective Cluster Head Selection

open access: yes, 2011
This paper presents an effective algorithm for selecting cluster heads in mobile ad hoc networks using ant colony optimization. A cluster in an ad hoc network consists of a cluster head and cluster members which are at one hop away from the cluster head.

Martin Luther's Critique of Supererogation

open access: yesJournal of Religious Ethics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent decades have witnessed a surge of philosophical interest in the concept of supererogation. Although Martin Luther figures prominently in the historiography as a critic of supererogation, the particular nature of his critique and its place within his broader moral theology has been underexplored.

Sill Stacking in Subseafloor Unconsolidated Sediments and Control on Sustained Hydrothermal Systems: Evidence From IODP Drilling in the Guaymas Basin, Gulf of California

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 130, Issue 3, March 2025.
Abstract Magma emplacement in the top unconsolidated sediments of rift basins is poorly understood. We compare two shallow sills from the Guaymas Basin (Gulf of California) using core data and analyses from IODP Expedition 385, and high‐resolution 2D seismic data.

A comparative study for block chain applications in the MANET [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal on AdHoc Networking Systems (IJANS), July 2023, Volume 13, Number 3, 2023
MANET- Mobile Ad-hoc Networks are famous for their infrastructure-less arrangement for communication. In this network, nodes are self-organized and can act as router. They are battery operated and self-organizing. Block chain is a new concept from 2008 and researchers are trying the possible application of Block chain in many sectors including MANETs ...

Performance improvement of multiple Connections in AODV with the concern of Node bandwidth [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal on AdHoc Networking Systems (IJANS) Vol. 2, No. 3, July 2012, 2012
Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETS) consists of a collection of mobile nodes without having a central coordination. In MANET, node mobility and dynamic topology play an important role in the performance. MANET provide a solution for network connection at anywhere and at any time.
