Tracking a Maneuvering Target using AUV

open access: yesInternational Journal of Engineering and Advanced Technology, 2019
In this paper effort is made to track a maneuvering target using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) with range, bearing and elevation measurements. Extended Kalman filter is preferred to processmeasurements tampered with noise. Algorithm to detect the maneuver of target is developed in this paper.

Precise interception of a maneuvering target by a missile [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2002 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks. IJCNN'02 (Cat. No.02CH37290), 2003
This paper presents a new error critic for neurocontrol of highly nonlinear systems. The unavailability of the target outputs of a neural network controller constitutes a difficulty in tuning the adjustable weights and biases and deserves a careful consideration to improve the tracking performance.

Improved GGIW-PHD filter for maneuvering non-ellipsoidal extended targets or group targets tracking based on sub-random matrices. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
For non-ellipsoidal extended targets and group targets tracking (NETT and NGTT), using an ellipsoid to approximate the target extension may not be accurate enough because of the lack of shape and orientation information.

Spacecraft rendezvous by differential drag under uncertainties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
At low Earth orbits, differentials in the drag forces between spacecraft can be used for controlling their relative motion in the orbital plane. Current methods for determining the drag force may result in errors due to inaccuracies in the density models
