Engineering Metal‐Pocket Cooperativity in Single‐Atom COF Nanozymes for Selective Cascade Catalysis
A multilevel programming strategy is developed to engineer single‐atom COF nanozymes with tunable metal centers and chiral pockets inspired by heme–pocket cooperativity. This approach enables controlled metal–pocket interplay for asymmetric cascade catalysis, delivering high activity, selectivity, and recyclability in an asymmetric oxidation–aldol ...

Characterization of a Novel Manganese Peroxidase-Lignin Peroxidase Hybrid Isozyme Produced by Bjerkandera Species Strain BOS55 in the Absence of Manganese [PDF]
A novel manganese-dependent peroxidase (MnP) isozyme produced in manganese-free cultures of Bjerkandera sp. strain BOS55 was purified and characterized. The production of the enzyme was greatly stimulated by the exogenous addition of various physiological organic acids such as glycolate, glyoxylate, and oxalate.

Advanced Materials for Biologics Delivery to Brain Tumors
Material innovation is central to unlocking the therapeutic potential of biologics against many central nervous system diseases, including brain cancer. By engineering carriers with controlled transport, targeting, and release properties, advanced materials can overcome the blood–brain barrier and tumor microenvironment, improving the delivery of ...

Manganese peroxidase catalyzed removal of anilines from water
Anilines are acutely toxic, carcinogenic, and persistent pollutants; conventional treatments suffer from incomplete destruction, high energy demands, large sludge volumes, and/or the generation of toxic intermediates.

CD9+ B Cells Induce T Follicular Helper Cell Apoptosis to Regulate Germinal Center Regression
A unique subset of CD9+ B cells regulates germinal center B (GC‐B) cell regression by inducing T follicular helper (Tfh) cell apoptosis through multiple signaling pathways, such as ALCAM‐CD6. FOXP1 plays a key role in GC‐B cell differentiation. These findings clarify mechanisms of GC degeneration and termination and offer potential targets for adenoid ...

Modulation of miR‐23b Wnt/β‐catenin Axis Strengthens Endothelial Barrier Properties
Early blood‐brain barrier (BBB) disruption contributes to stroke and CNS disease pathology. miR‐23b was identified as a regulator of BBB integrity in brain endothelial cells. Inhibition of miR‐23b enhanced barrier‐associated properties, promoted repair‐related signaling, and reduced BBB leakage in experimental stroke models, supporting further ...
