Street‐vended grilled beef sausages as potential vehicles of bacterial and fungal pathogens: An exploratory survey in Ho, the capital city of the Volta Region of Ghana

Grilled beef sausages sold by kebab vendors in Ho City were analyzed by food safety standard protocols to determine the load, type, and frequency of occurrence of both bacterial and fungal species. Findings provided grounds that the sausages could serve as potential vehicles of foodborne illness to the people of Ho City.
