Reframing Post‐Hepatectomy Liver Failure as a Determinant of Post‐Recurrence Survival in HCC
ABSTRACT Background Post‐hepatectomy liver failure (PHLF) is traditionally considered a transient perioperative complication with limited long‐term consequences, yet its long‐term oncologic implications in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remain unclear. Methods Patients undergoing primary hepatectomy for HCC between 2007 and 2018 were analyzed.

Athens' climate according to Thorthwaite is stable despite warming trends. Athens' climate remains semi‐arid and mesothermal over 165 years. Strong increases in evapotranspiration and stable precipitation were found. Soil water storage capacity affects water deficits but not aridity type.

The Emergence of a Climate Change Signal in Ireland's Rainfall Extremes
Analysis of Irish precipitation records (1930–2019) shows significant relationships between rainfall extremes and global mean surface temperature (GMST), with increases of 12%–27% per °C of warming. Emergence of unusual climate conditions is already evident at several stations, most notably in the west during winter and the southeast during summer ...
