Japanese poultry science, 1990 5品種のアヒルの雛の肝臓のマンノース•ホスヘート•イソメラーゼ•アイソザイムについて澱粉ゲル電気泳動法による分析を行った。この酵素の活性は2つの域で検出され,その内の易動度のより早い域(MPI-I)において個体変異が発見された。これらの変異は3複対立遺伝子(MPI-IA,IB,IC)によって遺伝的に支配されていると推測された。日本在来種のナキアヒルはMPI-ICで固定されていた。青首アヒルはMPI-ICと他の品種では発見されなかったMPI-IAを保有していた。中国,台湾およびオランダからそれぞれ導入された白色ペキン,白色菜鴨およびカーキー•キャンベルはそれぞれ頻度は異なるがMPI-IBとMPI-ICを持っていた。

Annals of Human Genetics, 1975 Eleven independent man-mouse hybrids and 40 subclones from four to them were analysed for up to 42 enzyme markers. Nine subclones from three hybrid lines were fully karyotyped. The data presented suggest that the gene for the human enzyme MOR-M can be assigned to chromosome 7, whilst those for MPI and PK-3 are on chromosome 15.
