Self‐Assembly Pathways of Carbazole‐derived Macrocycles Into Nanotubular Architectures

Carbazole derivatives with ester or amide substituents direct distinct self‐assembly pathways when combined with halogen‐ or metal‐based linkers. Amide groups enable cooperative hydrogen‐ and halogen‐bonding, producing ordered nanotubular polymers, while ester analogues yield disordered aggregates.
