Growth bioestimulant in marandu grass cultivated in the amazon biome
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of a biostimulant on the morphogenesis, structure, productivity, and chemical composition of Urochloa brizantha cv. Marandu, managed under two nitrogen fertilization levels. Collections were carried out during the dry (June to September) and the rainy season (September to April).

Stylosanthes cv. Campo Grande response to Bradyrhizobium inoculation in an Amazon Cerrado Oxisol
Abstract Species of the genus Stylosanthes show great potential for use in mixed pastures and as green manure due to their symbiotic potential in symbiosis with diazotrophic bacteria, particularly Bradyrhizobium. These herbaceous legumes can improve pasture quality and contribute to sustainability.

Urochloa species are widely used in silvopastoral systems (SPS), but production losses highlight the need for more productive forages. This study evaluated agronomic, physiological, chemical composition, and in vitro digestibility responses of Urochloa brizantha cv. Piatã and Megathyrsus maximus cvs.

Silicate and phosphate combinations for marandu palisadegrass growing on an oxisol
One of the greatest problems for pasture establishment and maintenance are the extremely low concentrations of available phosphorus in soils. The objective of this study was to evaluate the influences on productive and physiologic attributes during Marandu palisadegrass (Brachiaria brizantha) establishment, following changes in phosphorus availability ...

ABSTRACT Intercropping grasses and legumes could be an important strategy for sustainable food production in tropical weathered soils. This study aimed to assess the impact of intercropping systems comprising maize and grass with or without a legume for silage production and overseeded black oat overseeded for lamb grazing on crop production, root ...

Nitrogen and potassium fertilization of Marandu grass
Nitrogen and potassium are among the nutrients most extracted by forage grasses, making it essential to identify the appropriate doses for efficient fertilization planning. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the maximum nitrogen dose to be supplied for the fertilization of Marandu grass and to assess whether potassium supplementation increases ...

Performance of Beef Cattle Under Grazing as Affected by Urochloa decumbens Cultivars
ABSTRACT Testing animal performance under grazing is fundamental to determine the potential of recently released, high‐yielding Urochloa decumbens hybrids. The objective was to evaluate the weight gain of young bulls grazing on pastures of U. decumbens cultivars Basilisk, BRS Carinás, and BRS Poraitê, as well as to assess the nutritive value and plant ...
