Hydro‐ and Lipophilicity of Molecular‐Size‐Controlled Hydrogel Drug Carriers

We investigate nano‐sized hydrogel drug carriers with tailored hydro‐ and lipophilicity. We design their encapsulation and structure‐forming capabilities and follow them in real time during fabrication using time‐resolved and in situ grazing incidence x‐ray scattering.

Cost and benefit of parafoveal information during reading acquisition as revealed by finger movement patterns

Contrary to expert readers, children learning to read have limited ability to preprocess letters in parafoveal vision. Parafoveal letters induce crowding cost: the features of neighboring letters interfere with target letter identification.

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.
