Synchronization‐Dissipation in the Cardiorespiratory System
Advanced Science, EarlyView.By modeling central nervous coupling and viscoelastic interactions in the cardiorespiratory system we show that synchronization produces a 10% gain in cardiac efficiency in humans. It is surmised that respiratory sinus arrhythmia improves cardiac pumping efficiency by reducing dynamic stress and power dissipation in the pulmonary vasculature.

Ferritinophagy Rewires Carnitine‐Dependent Lipid Metabolism to Inhibit PRRSV and IAV Replication
Advanced Science, EarlyView.NCOA4‐mediated ferritinophagy reprograms carnitine metabolism by disrupting Fe‐S cluster biogenesis, thereby establishing an iron‐lipid axis that suppresses various viruses, including PRRSV and IAV. However, viruses counteract this mechanism by degrading NCOA4.

A Non‐Covalent [4Fe–4S]/[2Fe] Interface in HydF Guides [FeFe]‐Hydrogenase Maturation
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.Bridged or not? 57Fe NRVS reveals a non‐covalent, electronically coupled interaction between the HydF [4Fe–4S] cluster and the [2Fe] precursor. Boltz‐2 structure predictions suggest that the cubane organizes lipoate‐dependent Hmet chemistry, positioning intermediates for assembly of the CH2–NH–CH2 bridge during H‐cluster biosynthesis.
